Who are the people behind ENTER?

Jan-Willem Noom

President

15+ years of experience as a lecturer in Landscape and Garden design & Professional didactics at Aeres University of Applied Sciences in Wageningen, The Netherlands. He was originally educated in Garden & Landscape Management. Afterwards he studied Education and Knowledge Management with a specialization in Landscape design.

He has gained both practical and planning experiences in the Netherlands and internationally. His work experience includes the professions of a gardener, designer, vocational teacher and editor for a national consumer magazine about gardens. 
 

His passion is to connect people and find ways to renew educational approaches to inspire people with nature, ecological principles and design. As a consultant-trainer he collaborates with teacher training institutions around the world to bring the themes of learning and education together.

Beate Kralicek

General Secretary

Beate Kralicek did a philology degree studying English and Latin in Graz. During her studies she worked as a foreign language assistant teacher in Richmond, London. East Sheen was a comprehensive school where she was facilitating German conversation classes.

 

After graduating from Karl-Franzens-University in Graz, she went to Vienna to teach languages in a secondary school up to Matura level. After some years and raising a three-child family she started to teach at the University College for Agricultural and Environmental Education in Vienna. Her main subject was English at first and from 2001 she has been the Head of the International Office.

 

Working for European projects has been a great passion and many friendships have evolved from there. She regards this as a blessing in her career.

Marion Demay

Vice-President

Currently head of the international relations department of the French National Agricultural Training School (ENSFEA), which allows her to work for the benefit of French technical and higher agricultural education.

 

Since her studies,  she has built a professional career in the field of international academic and scientific cooperation. With a degree in project engineering and a specialization in Latin America, she has used each of her experiences in different countries and French universities to promote
France and its institutions. She has been appointed on various positions in France and abroad, including in French embassy.


Expert in international project management, she also run for several years a flagship programme, the
Toul’Box tool, for international students in France.

Rumyana Georgieva

General Secretary

Rumyana Georgieva was originally educated in General Agronomy. Afterwards she made a postgraduate qualification to gain pedagogical competence. Since several years she is working at the Department of Crop Science as a teacher.

 

As part from the UNIgreen team she is responsible for the
transfer of knowledge and good training practices between the partner institutions. Her passion is to work and communicate with people and to motivate them to think in more sustainable way.

 

Her membership of ЕНОАТ (European Network of Organic Agricultural Teachers) also provides an opportunity to continuously exchange new training methods and practices in training in organic farming.

Karel Němejc

Treasurer

Karel Němejc received his education in agricultural sciences and later specialized in vocational education. Since 2010, he has been a permanent member of the Institute of Education and Communication of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where he currently serves as the Head of the Department of Pedagogy.

 

From 2018 to 2023, he held the position of Director of the
Institute, further enhancing his leadership abilities and strategic vision. Karel's primary focus lies in evaluating education, school management, and the quality of teaching in vocational education. As a member of the National Council for Counselling and Education in Agriculture and Rural Development, he actively contributes to shaping the future of the field. His involvement in the Quality Assurance team in the European university network known as Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS).

 

 Motivated by his background in agricultural
sciences and his longstanding engagement in the education sector, Karel continuously expands his knowledge and skills. He strives to innovate and make valuable contributions to the development of vocational and further education. His efforts involve bridging the gap between theory and practice,
ensuring high-quality education, and promoting sustainable development.
